Laser Cutting and Engraving #
In the laser room of HatchLabs, we have two laser cutters which you can use to cut and engrave materials creating both functional and beautiful designs. The high-precision laser cutters work with many different materials/ thicknesses.
We sell laserable materials at a subsidised rate and anything not bought from us must be checked by a technician as there are materials that cannot be cut.
This machine is designed to be run by trained technicians but we allow students, once inducted, to operate the machine - as long as a technician is somewhere in the lab.
