Computer Labs #

Overview #

The Department of Computing has six maintained Computer Labs:

Richard Hoggart Building, room 115 - PG laptop / BYOD lab
Richard Hoggart Building, room 117 - 24 computers
Richard Hoggart Building, room 306 - 64 computers
Richard Hoggart Building, room 306a - 32 computers
St James Hatcham Block 3, ground floor - 69 computers
Whitehead Building, room 219 - 48 computers

All our lab computers are Apple iMacs and have a range of software installed for use in class, tailored for the modules being taught.

How to Log In #

Log in with your Campus username and password. Both your Department of Computing network home drive and your Goldsmiths network home drive should auto-mount at login.

Save your Work!!! #

Please save all your work to your network home drive or removable storage. Do not save work locally on the computer. To maintain drive space we routinely delete user profiles that haven’t been used for a while and if a computer becomes unusable we will re-image it without taking a backup of local data.
